“I am so grateful to have found Kate and couldn't recommend her more highly. We were feeling at our wits end with the health visitor who was dismissing there was anything going on with our 3 year old daughter, we couldn't get any support and we were really struggling. We didn't know where to turn or what to do and then I stumbled upon Kate one evening whilst on Instagram and I couldn't be more grateful that we did! Kate has guided us through the process of getting a diagnosis for our daughter, found us great local professionals who can support us, and been an invaluable sounding board and source of advice. We are now in OT with my daughter, and have much more knowledge on how to help her day to day. Kate has also made us feel listened to and understood. I plan on working with Kate further this year to help support my daughter in her transition to starting school.”

“Kate offers truly unique support, and in my opinion, stands unrivalled in the realm of parental support. Discovering her has been a revelation during a very challenging school situation, equipping me with the necessary tools to navigate the complexities of school and adopt a solution-focused approach. School meetings, which can feel very daunting, were made considerably more manageable due to Kate's profound knowledge, expertise and compassion.

During the coaching sessions with Kate, we have discussed my son's situation in detail covering everything from current provision, how to advocate for his needs and understanding the provision I should be asking for, improving school communication and helping me to understand my son's dyslexic brain and support him with anxiety and huge dysregulation at home. After our first session, Kate provided me with detailed notes that have proven invaluable for preparing for future meetings. In the lead-up my school meeting, Kate's unwavering support extended to uplifting voice notes and words of encouragement providing a much needed boost of confidence. Beyond the immediate concerns, I have sought Kate's guidance in my quest to find the right school for my son's continued educational journey.

Kate's support has been nothing short of exceptional, and her genuine dedication to helping parents like me to navigate the often challenging landscape of SEND is truly incredible. I just wish I had found Kate years ago at the beginning of this stressful school journey. With Kate's support, I really hope I can turn my son's traumatic school life around. I cannot recommend Kate's coaching highly enough, she is truly wonderful and I am so glad I found her”

“I got in touch with Kate via Instagram when I saw a post about tips when travelling with autistic children. I explained that my son had started to struggle more with transitions, routine changes and busy environments, and shared details of my holiday and my concerns. What Kate sent me is incredible and will be so useful as we begin packing and planning for our trip. From recommendations for sensory toys, things to take from home for comfort, saying “yes!” when we can and the use of many visual aids, Kate has given us so many ideas to make the trip as smooth as possible for my son. Kate genuinely cares about making our trip amazing. Thank you Kate, so appreciated!”

-Laura, Devon

“Kate was incredibly helpful in helping me navigate the various school options as we were trying to decide which would be the best fit for our sons who are autistic and have ADHD. She went above and beyond, producing a long and comprehensive report for us. Thanks to her, we came out much clearer on our options and pros and cons of each choice. A huge thank you Kate!”

“I originally found Kate through her @NurturedNeuroKids instagram page, and  reached out to her when I saw she had helped other families like mine with their search for the right school setting and provision. We had an initial consultation over the phone, where Kate gathered background information about my autistic son and where we thought she could help us to find primary schools in the area that would meet his needs. This felt less like a consultation and more like a chat to a friend - a friend who knew all that we were going through as parents, all of our fears and hopes. Kate really put my mind at rest, and I knew we were in good hands. She took the time to thoroughly research each school and kept in touch with us on her progress. We had a follow up call to discuss the findings, which was so informative and it was clear that Kate knew what criteria to focus on and share in the report. We left the feedback call with a list of a few 'best-fit' schools to explore further, as well as advice and support on the pertinent questions to ask on school tours and meetings with a SEND coordinator. It all felt a lot less overwhelming thanks to Kate’s knowledge and support, and all of the input has helped me to feel more confident with what to look for and what to ask at each school visit. I would not hesitate to recommend Kate’s services to anyone else in a similar situation. Having her support was so reassuring and I am very grateful for her expertise and thoughts regarding the right provision for our son.”

“Kate has a passion that runs deep and flows through many forms of support. She is able to draw on experience from many areas that brings a well-rounded approach to her work. Kate's approach is incredibly nurturing and kind to both parents and children. She empowers both parents and children through her guidance and support, all the while listening with a compassion and understanding that can only come from her own personal journey raising and teaching neurodivergent children. I was so impressed by Kate's knowledge and wisdom and her support for our family has been invaluable. She just gets it! Kate is a true gem and I cannot recommend her highly enough!”

-Nikki, London

“Our latest session with Kate felt more like a therapy session, and unlocked something hugely important. We have been trying to parent our son in a similar way to our neurotypical daughter and trying to fit a 'square peg into a round hole. Kate has helped us to realise that we need to be guided by what is best for our son, and not necessarily what has worked for our daughter. We are now on a very different parenting journey, one which Kate is helping us to understand more with each session. Kate is so supportive and shows us so much kindness, which means a huge amount to us. We are finding our sessions hugely helpful in learning more about our son and the best way to support him.”

“I contacted Kate for some support with my daughter starting school and managing her big emotions after school and at the weekend. I wanted to be able to better understand my daughter, and support her needs. Kate has been incredibly supportive and is very knowledgeable about school and child development. She cares deeply about children, their well-being and the importance of regulation, mental health and emotional stability. Kate was very empathic and kind, and it felt more like chatting to a friend. Through our sessions, she has helped me hugely to understand my daughter’s nervous system, possible triggers and reasons why she was becoming so overwhelmed and dysregulated at home. I feel much more confident being able to support my daughter when she is struggling. With Kate’s support and encouragement we have put lots of things into place at home to support my daughter and I feel better equipped to understand her needs. I cannot recommend Kate enough, and look forward to chatting with her again soon.”

“I was lucky enough to come across Kate in a SEN mums group. Kate was super helpful and really has been somewhat of a game changer for working out an urgent plan for quite a stressful school situation. I found Kate to be very flexible, compassionate and totally relatable. Kate listened, empathised and helped me prioritise. She came up with some fantastic suggestions which I have followed up on all. Kate gave me so much confidence and also hope. A one hour call turned into a three hour chat - I really cannot thank Kate enough for her help and will continue to use her support along this tricky journey of navigating the education system for a neurodivergent child. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Kate for all her help so far and would highly recommend her coaching.”
